How I Organize My Agenda

So today, as I listened to someone complain that they forgot to do their homework because their writing in their agenda was so messy, I realized that maybe thats is a problem for a lot of people. But I do not have that problem anymore! I recently implemented a plan to keep my thoughts organized in my agenda.  I practically live out of my agenda and I am slightly scatterbrained during the school year so I have to write everything down when i get it. So that is where I begin. Here are my tips and tricks for keeping your agenda organized. Here is a picture of my agenda and below that are the tips!:

1. Write your assignments or things you need to remember right when you get them. Sometimes I wait to write them and I just end up forgetting because my life is H-E-C-T-I-C! especially during school.

2. Assign each class a color and set aside another dark color for extra reminders. I personally try to color code my classes when I can. For example, my math homework is written in pink, my math binder is pink, and my accessories for that class are pink (my calculator, ruler, an hole puncher for worksheets are all pink) so I can easily keep organized. That doesn't work for all of my classes because some of my notebook colors are blah but it works for some.

3. Along with the colors, set aside a line in your agenda for each subject/class. Not all people need to do this because they have separate boxes (if you have a school provided/made agenda) but you may. I like to have my lines organized like my schedule so since I have math first, math is my first and top line, and since  I have spanish second, spanish is my second line, etc.

4. Like I mentioned earlier, I set aside a darker color for my extra reminders. These include !BRING GYM CLOTHES TOMORROW! or !STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING BEFORE SCHOOL AT 7:30! Also, to make these reminders stand out even more I write them above the given lines, beside the date, and/or in the margins and box them in.

5. The agenda I have has a section that has a box calendar page for every month, in addition to the month by month section with the month at a glance box calendar, and the day by day section that I write my homework in. I use this month at a glance box calendar (there is one for every month) for my personal/social life. For example, I would write down the day that I go to the beach or when i have my next orthodontist appointment here. I check this every night so i know what i am doing the next day.

6. Now that I have covered my personal life calendar, I will get into how I do my school life calendar. In my agenda, before we get into the day by day section there is a month at a glance box calendar. This is where I write down all of my tests, papers, projects, meetings, due dates, etc. I also color code these with the class color (ex. math is pink here to). Just as an extra precaution I write my due dates down once a week in the extra white space and on their actual due date.

Those are my tips and tricks to organizing your agenda. If you have any more questions or would like to tell me how you organize your agenda I would love to hear!

Football Game Outfit Ideas

So guys tomorrow is the first Carolina Panthers home game of the season. And I am going. I AM SO EXCITED to tailgate and just be back at a game. I guess this game means that fall is officially on its way, even if the weather has not caught on yet. Here are some of my favorite game day looks... featuring Carolina Panthers colors of course!

1. I 2. I 3. I 4. I 5. I 6.

1: This shirt is perfect. It is effortless looking and the perfect colors. The link will only take you to where you can buy the shirt, but the shorts look adorable too!

2 and 3: These are two separate pieces but they would look so cute together. The dress could be worn alone or with black jewelry, and just in case there is a bit of a breeze or you just want something covering your shoulders, this black sheer kimono is the perfect piece.

4: Once again, this sweater is the only thing the link takes you to but the whole outfit is so cute for fall and would not be too hard to put together once you have the sweater!

5: If you are going for a classic game look just wear a jersey and some leggings or any type of shorts or jeans. I have worn mine with boots and leggings. This jersey is great. I love the blue and the number and name! He is one of my favorite players!

6: These pants. Let's just take a moment and appreciate these. They are absolutely adorable and with that black shirt they are the right colors as well!

I hope these style suggestions helped! Whats your favorite football team?

Maggie

White...

So I know, I know, your not really supposed to wear white after Labor Day... and Labor Day was a bit over a week ago... but, I must admit, I've worn white... several times. I love wearing white and after labor day it is this transition-into-fall time and your not technically supposed to wear it. Only one problem with that though... its 90+ degrees here in NC. I am still wearing shorts and tank tops so it is not really feelin' like fall yet. I love wearing my white bottoms and shirts all summer, I guess you could call white my go-to color and when it still feels like summer I think it is okay to wear a bit of white... for now.  Here are some of my favorite white pieces and some could work as transition pieces.

So now you've heard my excuse to wear white, whats yours?
